It's been a while

Well, this weekend I went home to visit my family. I didn't realize how much I missed them until it was time to leave. When I came home,, I brought a few friends with me. They lived in Conroe,, and as I've said it previous posts; I'm the only one with a car. I had such an amazing time when I went home, I got all kinds of things for my home plus some much needed new clothes. :)) Then we all went to the movies to see the Exorcisim. :/ It was pretty wicked. I'm completely surprised that my mom went to see it with us. After that we ate at Taco Cabana,, it was so yummy. Then we headed to lowes, not such a great idea...Cody almost chopped his finger off. My poor baby brother had to get 12 stitches!!!! & No, he wasn't horseplaying. :P We stayed in the emergency room until about 1 a.m. (No bueno) The morning after it was time to go home. The weekend went by pretty fast. So we get back to Tyler (me and all the girls) and we go to wal-mart. We get almost out of the store and this guy walks up to us and is like I need yall to come with me...WHAT!!! Guess what,, Mariya and I were the ones taking the fall for something we had no clue about. Luckily God was watching out for us and they let us go. I haven't talked to those girls since. It's funny actually,, everybody is so desperate for some new friends because you come to this town not knowing anybody && man;; it shoots you in the face. I am not a happy camper at the moment. Then,, to make matters even better (yes, I am being extemely sarcastic),, we had to file harrassment on these other girls. My week just keeps getting better and better. Don't underestimate these "white girls". Hahah. The head of housing was completely helpful. Thank gosh. At this point I really don't know how much more I can really take. I was so stoked about living in dorms and experiencing college life. Now,, I am not so sure about this. It makes me so so sick just thinking about everything. On a plus,, I passed a quiz today with an 87. I only missed one question,, and it was such a silly mistake. :)) As of right now it's only 5 p.m. so I am sure more things will come today,, if anything interesting happens I will blog again. (Let's hope I don't have to)

Half way through week one.

One class today?? Could my day get any better?? Not to menchion I had the best a&p teacher on campus. Katie and I walked in at sat in the front row,, by front row; I do mean the very first row. :)) Hey..I mean I came to learn didn't I?

I woke up this morning feeling amazing. :)) Rested and ready to get on the ball. I drank a cup of coffee; they say it stunts your growth,, but I'm already short so what the heck?? & then cleaned our dorm because we thought we had room checks tonight. Then,, I headed off to my first class. After class I went outside to this thing they are doing for welcome week and they played live music and had all kinds of booths about campus and free food!!! It was a blast. It's so great that I don't have to drive anywhere for anything. :)) All the excitement is right outside of my house. After that I came back to my room for a little bit and then my friend Justin texted me and wanted to hang out,, he tried to get me to walk where he was...BOY PLEASE! If you wanna see me you come to me. :D So he came to pick me up and we just hung out for a while with his roomates and watched some tv. It was just really laid back. It's so crazy not having somebody there telling me when to get my butt home and where I'm allowed to be and stuff. *i love the freedom* ,, but what I love even more is that I know what's good freedom and what's bad. (my parents taught me well) Then on our way home I called Mariah and wished her a happy birthday for the millionth time today. My little baby sister is fourteen years old,, it seemed like she was three yesterday. After I got home,, the other Mariya called me and said she needed to talk to me...she we met for dinner. :)) I was so so hungry. It feels like I am finally getting some sort of my appitite back. And we had a conversation about the usual topic. (boys) It seems like the older they get the more dumb they get. Then we sat outside,, because it felt so amazing today. It wasn't too hot,, and there was a slight breeze. We decided to come home around seven because we had a meeting at eight for the dorms. After that we went to our meeting and they told us the rules. I think the most retarded one is that "opposite sex" can only visit for two hours at night. Why would they make it at night when everybody is trying to sleep...why not give us til dark or something...I don't understand that one,, but parents (that should make you happy). When that was over Mariya and I decided we wanted to go work out,, we got all dressed, walked all the way over there and Mariya lost her key!! So we searched and searched for about fourty five minutes trying to find it. *NO LUCK*. So we decided to come back home and I must say,, I am pooped!! College life wears you out!! I skyped with my sister and mike for a little bit and now I am writing this. So all in all,, I had a pretty amazing day. :)

Fun fact: There is every sort of different people here,, all with their own looks and personality...but everyone of those people are so kind hearted. (mom knows best when she said that everybody was in the same boat I was so not to be worried about making friends)

Meals: Yogurt, Burger, Fries, Salad and Strawberry punch.

Something I learned: DON'T SWEAT THE SMALL STUFF. Live up every moment you have,, because just like high school passed me by...college will to so make every second count.

Tuesday at TJC

Well,, I woke up this morning at already, only in my second day, was almost late to class. :/ Thank gosh for mom calling at eight,, when my class starts at eight thirty. *Major bonus to living on campus*. I got dressed in fifteen minutes and then headed out with day old make up on;; that had been slightly touched up of course. No breakfast,, lookin rough & I do mean rough,, and being as loud as I could because I was in such a hurry. (Not on purpose of course) Then I headed out to my first class; Math. I loved it. It was quite small,, ten people at most; so I caught on pretty quickly,, although it was only a review. Then I headed off to my next and last class; medical terminology. I way in over my head on that one. :)) But I can do it. That class usually should let out around eleven but today we got out at ten thirty.

I am gonna skip ahead really quick. Why are girls so dang messy?? This girl just walked in my room && asked what I was doing. I told her about to get ready to work out,, she wanted to go so I told her she could and that it would be us and Mariya... she didn't want to go. Follower much?!? (Reds friend)

Anyways...back to where I left off. I got out of class and then called my mom back from this morning. She was kind of disappointed in me for not already going to look for a job when I have been here since saturday. :/ Man how time flies though. Before you know it, it's already midnight and your looking at your eyelids. Then,, I came back to my room to catch a breather for a second. I got on facebook and myspace for a minute and noticed that I had a friend request,, I was thinking "oh yay a new friend". NOT!! All I can say is what the hell was he thinking. :/ (It was not Joseph for those wondering) I immediately texted my mom because I wanted to fall to my knees for a whole second,, but for some reason; she can say nothing really at all and it made me feel better. Then,, I ate some food. I was talking to Sara about my coffee maker and how it frustrates me because IT DOESN'T WORK!! Then she came over and said "well, where are you putting the water??" I showed her and she basically told me I was a big retard because I was putting it in the wrong place. (oops) I got back on my computer to look up directions to the post office because I still had yet to mail off "thank you" cards from graduation. So I got in my car and the directions weren't being to clear. Why couldn't it just say turn left or right?? No!! It had to be difficult and say south and east and west and north. Ugh!! Like I really know that??? So I literally drove around about fourty five minutes trying to find that dang place. Then my dad called to give me an update about Brandon (my uncle); he had surgery today that had to actually put chemo into his liver. :( He's not feeling to hot right now. So my dad then told me to go back to my house and they should have a post office,, shortly after my mom told me the same thing. WRONG!! They don't. So I was getting pretty heated because I spent about two and a half hours on trying to find the thing. So I went to the caf & my mom told me she found one and to call her when I got to my car. I walked all the way from there to my dorm. Ran upstairs and got my keys and then me and a few friends left. That took about fifteen minutes to find. I got them sent off FINALLY!! So those waiting,, here they come. :)) I spent a total of around four dollars on stamps. Those things are definitely not cheap. Then I ran to target really quick because we were already on that side of town,, to try to look for a backpack. They have nothing. :/ I was gonna get a mirror but while we were in like my friend broke it (luckily we didn't have to pay). And I also got a dry erase board for my door. :)) Mariya got one as well. We got back into the car,, ran to the bank and then came home. Dropped our stuff off and then left again to go eat. (I hadn't eaten all day) First I went to the clinic (upstairs from the caf) to see about a job,,, there was a blood drive. :I So I ate some food and then sat outside for a while. Then I came back to my room to get ready for a great workout with Mariya,, and after that we are going to a little concert outside Bateman *my dorm*. :)) After that I am coming home to relax.

Food for the day: Ramen,, and a salad. :))

Fun fact: tomorrow I only have one class from ten to ten fifty,, then more job hunting & back to the clinic.

Something I learned: Don't waste your time on dumb people that aren't worth it.

Day 3 at TJC (First Class Day)

So...Today was my first real day of school, not just any school; but college. It felt really crazy to not wake up to high school drama and all sorts of annoying teachers. Instead,, my day started off great. :)) I woke up around seven this morning because my sister wanted to skype with me before school. We have to only talk with writing though because Sara was still sleeping. :)) Mariah let me pick out her first outfit for high school, and I might add...I made her go in that school with a POP!! After we got done skyping; I started attempting to make some coffee...I'm still not that great at it. Ha. I plugged in my straightner and sort of took my time getting ready, seeing as, I didn't have to be in class until nine this morning. So I had a while. :)) I'd have to say...I did a pretty swell job of staying quiet, because I didn't wake Sara up even once. After I got my hair done I decided to do my make up. Then I chose my outfit for the day; jeans, a floral (nice shirt) and some blue slip on shoes. At least I thought I looked cute. :)) I ate some breakfast and then decided to leave my roomate a cute little note to wake up to. (I put it on our disgusting mirror). I then went to my class; First Aide: with professor Jack Cadell. He is amazing. We went in and his first words were "how does everybody feel about having this class on friday"; then he said..."you don't". HOW EXCITING!!! Guess what that means for me...only a four day week. :D He then introduced himself and let us out of class about twenty minutes early. So I walked to my next class which was supposed to be in the Wise Center...not so much. Ha. When I walked in there was a few students already there and I asked if I was i the right place and they said yes, then a few students turned into about twenty students in a class of one hundred eight. Ten:Ten rolls around and...still.no.professor. So we all start getting worried. Turns out WE WERE IN THE WRONG BUILDING!!! What are the odds of twenty students being in the wrong place?? So we showed up about thirty minutes late to class; luckily he hadn't taken attendance yet. (Professor Kenneth Murphy: A&P). He seemed pretty nice. After that I headed to my last class of the day; A&P lab:Professor...WIERDO. Haha. That class is about two hours long,, I don't know how I am gonna do it. Grr....but I know I can. :)) My first quiz is ten questions, next monday. :) Study group time. I then came home and as I was walking back to class I saw my friend Mariya,, so we walked together. Then me, her & sara all decided to get some lunch; seeing as, I hadn't eaten since seven a.m. Then we came back to the room,, I relaxed for a bit; I wasn't feeling to well so I layed down to take a nap.  (I think I just got a little overwhelmed from this weekend and now today). I dropped my friend Mariya off at Varsity Place (She gave me gas money) Woot! and Now here I am writing the story of my life. Today was a pretty long day,, but I can already tell I am really gonna love it.

Fun Fact: I met two new girls; Cami and Katie...both in seperate classes. & Katie told me about a group called...Speak up or something. It's a church group that debates about real topics in life,, and then at the end of each debate; they say a verse from the bible. (I can't wait)

Something I learned: DON'T MISS SCHOOL!!! It will catch up fast. (So they say)

What I ate for breakfast and lunch: Banana, Yogurt & Coffee. Then, Chicken and Rice with a salad that was great. :))

Day 2 at TJC

Where do I begin??

I woke up this morning around twelve,, why I slept so late; I have no idea. But I know it was much needed relaxation time. :) I woke up smelling like smoke from the club last night. So I needed to bathe, but wasn't ready quite yet. So I fixed my skype so that my sister could hear me on her end. Then I talked to an old friend from Hutto; Sydney. :)) Love her. She is now living in Boston, and we showed each other our dorm rooms. Then I finally finished unpacking and getting everything set up the way I wanted it. It feels like home more and more now.

After that; my suite mate...Red, came in the room to tell me she "kicked her roomate out". I knew then that things weren't lookin so good,, and only in day 2. Shortly after they started raising their voices so I went in their room to see what was going on. They were both in the wrong.

Let me back up... when Sara and I moved in together we discussed our flaws and what the "rules" were going to be. We understand where each other is coming from so there would be no confusion.

Red went into her room today after using the bathroom and there was a random guy in there talking to Mariya. Red was pretty upset that she didn't ask if the guy could come up,, she just brought him to the room. So the guy left when the girls started arguing.

Mariya apologized for doing that and said it wouldn't happen again even after Red told her she was kicking her out. Her and this other girl went and had the papers switched before even discussing it with Mariya. Mariya's arguement was that it wasn't right that they had done that before even talking to her first; which I agree. That was wrong. So the R.A. came up and solved everything so Red moved out.

...Now Mariya is alone in her room.
My main thing is that there should not be drama when we haven't even been here a week. That's crazy!!

After that, I just kind of minded my own business for a while until Sara asked if I wanted to go eat with everybody,, so I did. :)) It was my first TJC meal. I asked Mariya if she wanted to go, but she declined. I am not taking sides,, it's way to early in the game to be on anybody's negative side. Lol. We then went to wingstop so some other girls could eat and everybody had a chance to talk about what happened. We came home and everybody came to our room,, that seems to be the hang out room for now. :)) ...How cool are we??

Tomorrow is my first day of school and I have my first three classes; First Aide, A&P and then the lab. I am really excited. I don't have to be in class until 9,, so that's a plus. I am still kind of laying low, because yes,, I do want friends. But I am in no rush right now to get them. I want to be able to trust people. :)) ...Because as we all know, you can know somebody and be "best friends" for six years and then it all fall to pieces. You never know.

All I can say now is,, bring on tomorrow.

TJC meal today was; hotdog, cheese fries, cake and a rootbeer. No, I am not a fatty I haven't really eaten since yesterday afternoon. Post moving nerves.

Something I learned; Discuss things with your roomate before things turn bad, because the arguement today could have been completely avoiding if they would have talked it out.

Fun Fact; All the girls think I have a nice "cheerleader body" with a "j.lo booty". :)) (Charmed to hear that)

Day 1 at TJC

I got to TJC at around 11 am to spend my first night in my dorm room with my dormmate (Sara). :)) Shortly after my dad, Hope, Mariah && her friend came to see my new way of living. Over summer my dad has been really uneasy about me going to TJC,, so I was determined that I would change his mind if he just came to check out the campus. They got here and the first thing to see was my new home that Mommydoll, Michael, Cody && Kaela helped me decorate. :)) They saw that it was done in Camo && Pink. Then I wanted to show them the actual campus I would be at,, so I walked them around and everyone of them fell in love just as I did the first day I stepped foot here. We came back to my room and then grabbed some dinner at a seafood place; I'm trying new restaurants here because there is TONS I have never heard of. :)) it was great food. We went to wal-mart to grab some last minute things that I needed and then headed back to my house; I love calling it my home. :)) They stayed about 20 minutes to help me get my internet set up and then left. I called my mom shortly after to give her the play by play on them falling in love with my campus. After I got off the phone with her it started sinking in that everything my parents have ever taught me applys...now. I started talking to Sara and trying to get to know her,, she wants to be a nurse. So we are close in majors. :)) (Something in common). I finished setting up my half of my room and my R.A. knocked on or door and asked if we wanted to go downstairs to the ice cream social,, Sara and I talked it over and we decided it would be nice to meet some new faces. There wasn't many people down there, and for the most part everybody was talking to their roomates. So we came back to the room and hung out with our suitemates; Mariya && Red. :)) They are truely amazing people. Moving in the weekend before, we were bored so we started thinking of ideas as to what we could do. We decided to go out before we started classes and all got busy. So four girls shortly turned into five and then before I knew it seven girl wanted to go out. Well a couple of guys wanted to go out too,, so we decided to try out club REO... It was an adventure getting there. bahah. We walked in and turned right back around. All the girls were kind of upset because it's a saturday night and we were stuck going back to the dorms. So we stopped at the gas station,, shell,, and asked what clubs were for college students. The guy told us a couple of others that had just walked out knew of a place to go,, so we talked to them and to my surprise,, they were extremely nice. They told us to follow them so we did. It was amazing,, that place was packed. We got there around eleven and people were still showing up by one. I got asked to dance a couple of times,, but for some reason was being reserved. This guy kept telling me to go over to his side of the dance floor and kept saying "no,, I am okay..." So Mariya got Matt,, our seventeen year old friend from the gas station that looks about twenty,, to make him go away. He immediately got up and told the guy to back off. That guy didn't mess with me the rest of the night. Ha! Then all my friends wanted to dance but I stayed at the table to watch our stuff,, and yet again, another guy walked up and started talking to me...he told me he was going to UT and we started sharing interests. Then there was an awkward silence between us and he broke out with "do you wanna make use of this time",, I replied "hows that",, he asked if I wanted to go make out. HELL NO I don't wanna go make out. I shortly after replied "you met me three minutes ago and are already asking that!!" I am not "that girl". and he walked away; ha typical guy. So I spent the rest of the night with my ladies. :)) We left the club around one,, and then took a trip to mcdonalds. :)) ...were we met more people. *college town much??* :)) but I completely love it. After we came back home and the ladies still wanted to stay up,, but I was pooped by two am. So I stayed in my room and skyped with my sister,, ate ramen,, sent my family pictures and layed down to go to bed.


In conclusion my first night here was absolutely amazing and so eventful. I start school tomorrow and that's when things get a little challanging,, but a challenge?? Bring it, I am completely ready for whatever God decides to bring my way.

Something I learned: guys,, they are ALL the same; but I'm not here for a silly boy...I had more than an amazing time with my girls and that's all I need.

Something I would do different: NOTHING! I applyed everything my parents taught me to last night,, and I couldn't be more happy with myself.

Fun fact: I am already homesick. :(
